By accessing or using Yupit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Yupit is an event sign-up and RSVP platform that allows users to create events, share them via links, and collect sign-ups from attendees. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

3. User Accounts

To create events, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create events for illegal activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post spam, misleading content, or scams
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Collect user data without consent

5. Event Content

You are solely responsible for the content of events you create. You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a license to display, distribute, and promote your events as part of the Service. We may remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Prices may change with notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yupit and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We'll notify you of significant changes.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
